We have a lovely tradition at 8Levers. If we are in the same location, I always bring Josh Squires something from my stops (this may or may not have included a jar of smalec from Poland). He brings something back from Valencia, or wherever his travels have taken him, and we swap. This year I packed two enormous cans of maple syrup. Over a litre of the sacred elixir.
